Creating Ebooks That Will Sell

Posted by David Hobson | Posted in Ebooks | Posted on 26-07-2008

When you write an eBook your chosen niche and the title you give it will determine how many sales you will get. It does not matter what subject you choose to write about if it does not appeal to people they will not buy it. So I have come up with a few ways that will help you in choosing the correct niche and title.

Before you even begin to write your eBook you need to do lots of research in the niche you are going to write about. Keyword research should play a big part of your research there are plenty of free keyword tools out there on the Internet that will tell you just how many searches are made for your chosen niche.

Do a search in the major search engines for the keywords that you are going to use and see what results they bring. This will tell you how many people are already promoting an eBook in your chosen subject and just what they have to offer and how you can improve on it.

Another tip before you begin writing an eBook is to write 4 or 5 short articles about your niche and submit them to article directories. Keep track of which articles and titles are getting the most views as this will help you decide on the title of your eBook.

Once you have followed my 3 tips you will be able to start writing your eBook knowing what your title is going to be and the subject you are going to write about and what has to be done to improve on what’s already available.

Why not check out our eBooks over at our ebook website to see what we have to offer.

Pagerank is Updating So Bloody What

Posted by David Hobson | Posted in Misc | Posted on 25-07-2008

So it’s that time of year again when the Almighty god of Google updates its pagerank and all the little green bar trolls start getting all overly excited. So bloody what who actually gives a damn about pagerank? not bloody me for starters.

What is the big deal with pr and why do the trolls get so excited? well because it means they can sell links on their websites for stupid amounts of money and then in 2-3 months time when God removes there pagerank they have something else to whinge about.

Pagerank makes absolutely no difference to a websites performance in the search engines what so ever regardless of what people might say. What it does do is mean people can charge for links which as we all know God does not like.

I see that once this update is complete my blog will be getting a pagerank of 3 and as far as I am concerned God can take is 3 and stick it right up his *$&%.

  • Will it improve my sites position in the serps NO
  • Will it get me more subscribers NO
  • Will it make me more money NO

So come tell us what you think we want to know.
