Promoting your website is one of the most important things you need to do. So many people these days set up a website then sit and wonder why no one visits. Website promotion does not have to be expensive in fact there are plenty of low cost and even free ways in which you can do it.
Using these tips and tricks below will only help increase your traffic and ultimately your revenue.
1. Write articles about your niche and submit them to article directories such as Trump Articles. Be sure to add an author bio at the end of your article with a link back to your website.
2. Write your own eBooks as we do. You can then give your eBooks away free or for a small fee. You can check out our eBooks here.
3. Build an opt-in email list. This is where step 2 comes in handy. Having a list to email weekly is a great way of getting repeat traffic to your website.
4. Get your website listed in web directories such as Poll Get and Blurb Blog Directory. These provide free back links.
5. Add a signature to the end of every email that you send, even if it’s to friends and family.
6. Never stop promoting. Just because you have done the above once doesn’t mean you have to stop. Website promotion is never ending.
I hope you find these tips useful and as always comments are always welcome.

True. There are a ton of link directories out there for both RSS, blogs and just for geting links back to your sites. I have posted on some of the sites on my blog. You might want to go have a look if you have time. There are a few great lists there and more still to come.

My site is still very new and I was not aware of the two directories you have listed here. I will pay these guys a visit. Thanks for the heads-up.
