Learn PPC – Pay Per Click Marketing

pay per click guideIt can be hard to make money from publishing online, and the bulk of many website earnings usually comes through affiliate marketing schemes such as pay-per-click (PPC) and cost-per-sale (CPS). With PPC schemes a publisher will agree to host adverts for other websites and products on their own site, and every time someone clicks on the advert they will receive a commission. This commission is normally a fixed, agreed amount per click-through, and the advertisers also normally agree a maximum budget per day. The disadvantage of these types of affiliate programs is that their success is limited to how many unique visitors you receive to your website each day, and whether the services/products advertised on the affiliate schemes appeal to these visitors or not.

If you are new to affiliate marketing, or have been using it for a while but not making much money, then it is sensible to get some professional help to ensure that you choose the best and most viable marketing scheme for your website.

PPC Coach is a professional affiliate marketing guidance service, which provides you with all the tools and techniques you will need to help you set up and maintain successful and profitable affiliate marketing schemes. Membership fees are just under $50 a month and for this you will get access to a number of online tutorials and guides, and also the PPC Coach Forum, where you can ask both the professional advice service and also other PPC members questions on affiliate marketing issues. Also you will get access to a number of specific contacts with merchants, which you can utilize if you are not intending to sell a product/service yourself.

KeywordspyWith this service you can run your membership on a monthly basis and cancel at any time you like, although there is no refund offered as valuable sales information is sent to you on joining PPC coach, and this policy prevents people joining the website, accessing the information and then cancelling their memberships straight away. With affiliate marketing you easily earn $50-$100 per day – so paying $50 per month on PPC Coach is affordable.

I highly recommend this program for effectively writing PPC ads and marketing. To find out more about PPC Coach you can visit their website and click on the FAQ guide.

Also, you should go with Keyword Spy – a best top premium keyword research tool which can bring down the cost of your adwords/ppc campaigns dramatically and also help you see what your competitors are doing. I think they are quite better than PPC Classroom 3 or nichebot. Will be posting reviews of ppc-coach and keyword spy soon..

Promoting Email Submits With Free Traffic

Here are some nice tips on promoting email submit offers from one of my favorite blog Melvin Blog – This is a contest entry to the previous “Secret Is Out” Affiliate marketing contest. Will be posting more such secrets in the coming days. If you find the article useful, head over to Melvin Blog to find more such interesting tips and updates. Much said, here we go :

Note: This targets newbies more than anything else. One thing Im sure of is this works because I’ve tried it and it went well for me.

So not everyone has the cash when starting out affiliate marketing, as you know affiliate marketing requires some hefty cash from our side even when starting out. Although, there are free coupons from Adwords, yahoo and MSN occasionally, the truth is its hard to time it because all the coupons are already used up even before you know there’s a coupon available. Here is what I normally do with it. I utilize easy converting email submit offers and use free traffic. Let me explain.

First, take a look at the Market Leverage Offers. You see there are over 10 offers of this kind. For those who do not know, email submits are offers that you get paid for a valid email from customers. It costs nothing to consumers and the pixel is fired on the first page of an offer. Easy money eh?

affiliate marketing

Now we head on to the landing page. Basically we cannot direct link here because we’re not using payperclick. Now I know building a landing page seems to be frightful experience for newbies but here’s a tip that I think will make sense. In some point of time last January, I used it and I can say it worked and is definitely working. First let’s use the ipod nano email submit offer. Take a look:

email campaign

So read the description of the campaigns properly because some offers are strict and most are not. Do also take note of what country does the offer accepts traffic from. In this case its United States. Now back to the landing page. Most people don’t use this and i am sure others will find it silly to do it but one easy way of building a landing page is just getting the email creative for that and putting it into your site. Take a look at this:

html code

What I do is just try to copy the email html content and putting it into my site. Again most people will find it silly but actually if you look at the codes its actually SE-optimized and you just need to do a little tweaking in it. You can basically add a title to the title tag and such stuffs. Looking with what it looks like here it goes:

apple ipod

Not bad eh? I believe the site looks good enough to attract readers. Of course, you can do your own landing page if you have more skills but again for those who know virtually nothing, that is definitely a quick way.

So we’re now in getting free traffic. At the start we said we’re not gonna use pay per click and we will try to squeeze anything using free methods. Although the income potential are definitely lower with free traffic, its still possible to make money from it. Anyway first make sure you install Google Analytics to your site so you could split test your pages, see the data and make adjustments. Now how do I promote it? Here it goes:

1. Forum Marketing –everyone knows exactly the power of forums but how do they utilize it? It depends. Now I assume you are a quality member of a certain forum, meaning you’re not just signed up yesterday. In my case, im a big fan of basketball and I am a member of some famous forums about basketball for a long time which means I have the reputation. So I try to put the landing page url in my siggy and of course I try to use an attractive anchor to attract clicks. Another secret I do is I pawn the offtopic section of forums with the offer itself. In the offtopic section I post something like “I heard this site gives nanos upon completion of surveys so I signed up, what do you guys think?” Be careful though with this because it can get you banned! Freebies forum tend to also do well with it. Want some freebies forum, then here’s the list of sites that normally have 2000 uniques a day.

2. Blog Catalog – now this has got to be something most people don’t do. Blogcatalog is a known directory for blogs and while its known to be site that has some serious 100,000 visitors a day traffic, I don’t see a lot marketer using the discussion page for it. The discussion page is hell with traffic as well. But the main key here is putting up a discussion that can intrigue a lot of people. People posts here as often as they can and if your discussion page doesn’t make sense, then in 2 minutes your discussion is in page 10 instantly. One for example is when I tried promoting the “cokeorpepsi” offer from ML before. Look:

social networking

The discussion got about 110 replies, 50% of them clicked the link and 7 have actually made conversions. So you see really it makes sense considering all you need to do is type. It varies depending on the type of offer though as some tend to perform really well as opposed to others

3. Incentivizing – Now here it depends on the offer. Most likely there are few offers that allow incentivization of their offers. How do you incentivized then? The sky is the limit actually! I give entrecard credits, I give free stuffs, I tell them they will get a free domain for this and that and etc. Incentivizing is like “bribing” them to do something in your favor. At the end it benefits you both. Again you must first contact your affiliate manager with regards to these matters.

That’s it. I would like to share this tip more to beginners but sure experts can also use it and they can very well duplicate their incomes more because they are expert. Now if it builds you up a small hundred dollars, then maybe you could jump into bigger waters now and start doing pay per click w/o worrying the money to spend. Hope this helps… :)

Motive Interactive Launches Advent 2

motive adventThe Motive Network powered by Advent 2.0 is an advanced performance ad network that implements two functions critical to internet advertising: a publisher centric advertising network and a direct lead generation network.

Competing companies are one of the other; few if any have truly combined the two. Additionally, Advent provides ad serving and impression tracking capabilities that most networks do not offer. The data model, code model, and system processes are designed by industry experts with years of experience building high volume performance advertising and lead generation networks. All the critical intricacies of
online advertising and lead generation that can only be learned through years of experience are built into Advent. Most other platforms cannot say that and many will contain pitfalls and shortcomings that can negatively impact revenue, and business relationships.

Advent is built on a model that is highly scalable and adaptable to future enhancements as the industry changes. This is critical to being a step ahead of the competition. The ad and lead generation industries are constantly in flux and Motive has designed the network with that in mind.

For Motive, Advent contains features many other platforms simply do not have, like multiple payout support including commission based sales, individual publisher and advertiser allocations and lead routing to multiple advertisers and buyers. On the lead generation side, Advent implements real time and batched lead processing as well as very flexible and powerful data handling and validation capabilities. We offer way more than most cost per acquisition CPA network, and we do it in a user interface (UI) that is extremely easy to use.

Superior User Interface

Advent provides a clean, streamlined user interface that empowers publishers to get to the offers, creative, statistics and campaign information they need quickly. Advent gives publisher the tools to measure important campaign performance metrics across all time periods, campaigns and payouts in multiple perspectives including ‘effective’ perspectives like eCPM and eCPL. Advent provides simple, but powerful filtering capabilities for offers, campaigns and performance statistics. The have streamlined the process for publishers. Three Most Common Mistakes of an Affiliate Marketer

How many Affiliate marketers do you know that have made mistakes. Probably quite a lot I should imagine as it is far easier to make mistakes than getting it right mainly because of being too idle to do anything about it.

Hell even I have made mistakes we all do it at some time. So what are the most common mistakes that Affiliate marketers make and how to you fix them.

1. Incorrect Product Choice.

In my own opinion this is probably the biggest mistake people make when affiliate marketing. They go to sites such as Clickbank and instead of researching products and finding ones that match their content they place any old product on their website and cross their fingers.

If you want to achieve more success with affiliate marketing make sure to do some research and match the products to your website.

2. Same Old Messages.

What many affiliate marketers don’t realise is the amount of competition there is out there on the Internet. Hundreds of people all trying to sell the same product and sending out the same Pre-made ads to the masses.

When you sign up to an affiliate program don’t go straight for their pre made emails and blog posts make your own unique, eye catching and quality ads these will not only do better but will rank you higher in search engines.

3. Too Afraid.

My final mistake is far too many affiliate marketers are afraid and therefore stick to the same old tried and tested methods of promotion.

Be adventurous and try other things out DO NOT be afraid to try new methods, yes it might fail the first time but keep going and you will succeed.
