Welcome to day 6 of the complete guide to Bum Marketing. In this post we are going to be looking at how you can go about conducting the best free keyword research.
I really like doing keyword research and can spend all day at it. Just be sure to remember when doing your keyword research that you have some great products already lined up to promote. Finding the products is easy just go to clickbank and make a list of products based on the following 5 reasons.
- They offer good affiliate commissions
- The product sells for a decent rate
- There are great keywords you can find to write articles about
- The competition is not so stiff you will find it hard to make money
Now that we have our great products to promote we need to do some keyword research one tool i like to use is the following one from Google and best of all its free.
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
When you get to that page just enter your main keyword and you will receive a list of other keywords related to your main one. You can write additional articles on the keywords that the tool finds.
As a rule you ideally want to write around 20-30 articles per product that you wish to promote this is a reasonable target once you get up to speed with Bum Marketing.
Does Search Count And Competition Matter?
These are 2 things you need to consider when doing your keyword research. People will always tell you to look for keywords that have a high search count but you should also look at the ones with a low count as well as these have a lot less competition.
This will enable you to promote products that have very little competition. If you want to become a real Bum Marketer then you need to be someone that writes lots of articles on ALL your keyword search terms. When first starting out as a Bum Marketer it is often a good idea to go for the lower promoted products to build your reputation.
Now that we have looked more into keyword research its time for us to talk about the insider secrets of Bum Marketing that many experts refuse to tell.
If you want to know what they are then you are going to have to subscribe to our RSS Feed and watch out for Day 7 of The Complete Guide to Bum Marketing.

If #1 is good commission, then 0 is actually knowing something about the product, it not actually owning it to start with.

I have some questions to ask. Do we write all articles pertaining to 1 product (or a few similar products like skin care) and host them on a single domain?
What is the usual practice for bum marketing? Have different domains for different line of products? Or lumped all articles into 1 single domain and have different links out from different article pages?

Bobby T you only link 1 product with 1 article. The idea is to use an affiliate program like clickbank that way you do not need to host any websites with bum marketing you are earning commissions for promoting other peoples products.
