One thing i noticed though is the lack of plugins available. After searching Google and looking at the Tools section of Sphinn i came across the same 2 plugins every time. One which only puts the vote button on the homepage of your blog and not within the post itself and one that does not align itself with your content.
So i decided to make a plugin myself and as a result am releasing it to the masses. The Sphinn wordpress plugin i have come up with will allow you to add the vote button to posts of your choice and will not only align itself with your content but will appear on your blogs pages and the actual post page.
How to install and use:
- Start by Downloading the plugin.
- Upload sphinn_plugin.php to your plugin folder.
- Goto your plugins admin and activate it.

The plugin is now ready to use. When you are writing your blog posts you will now be able to add a vote button to your post. Select the HTML view option and you will see a sphinn button by clicking this you will place the button code into your post. See image below

The plugin in is automatically set to align the vote button to the left of your post. If you would like to align it to the right simply open the sphinn_plugin.php and locate:
$defaultfloat = “left”;
Simply change “left” to “right”
I hope you all find this plugin useful and as always i appreciate your comments.

Thanks for sharing. I downloaded it and will gladly give it a try. Your own plugin, that’s pretty impressive. I couldn’t begin to imagine how something like that even works. Thanks

Finally, it’ll be good to find one that works right.
Is it possible to put in on the bottom left or right or just the top?

Nice plugin but since we use the FCKEditor it doesn’t show
. Is there anything that can be done about that besides deactivate the FCKEditor?

This plugin is working fine with posts but on home page, it’s showing submit_url =’URL’ error.
Currently I’m deactivating this plugin till the time you remove this bug.
