Content management websites such as Sphinn, Digg and Blogging Zoom are great ways for bloggers to gain some exposure for their blog posts. In this post i am going to discuss Sphinn and how and why you should be using it. Compared to the other content management website i believe Sphinn to be the better one for bloggers.
Sphinn was launched in July 2007 by Danny Sullivan and has fast become a very popular alternative to Digg especially for bloggers. So why should you be using Sphinn?
Sphinn is aimed at internet marketers and webmasters so you are reaching your target audience. Sphinn has many excellent features such as the ability to build a network of friends. It is also a great resource for all the latest news and events in the world of online marketing.
Some of the features i like include.
Stalking: This is a great way of following some of your favourite Sphinners and enables you to see what they are reading and commenting on..
Detailed Profiles: You can provide other members with your profiles from other communities such as Twitter, Facebook and more. This is a great way for you to increase your network.
My four tips to using Sphinn.
- Get your self an avatar to replace the default green one. This enables others to recognise you.
- Use killer titles and unique descriptions dont just copy and paste from your website.
- Put a Sphinn badge on your post if you want people to Sphinn it.
- Submit stories from other sites not just your own.
So why not join Sphinn today if you are not yet a member and start contributing to what is fast becoming the best content management website on the internet today, and yes if you read this post and you like it then please hit the sphinn button.
