F – Forum Signatures
Using forum signatures is a good way of getting extra traffic to your website or blog. Begin by finding forums related to your niche and becoming a regular poster and building up a good reputation before you add your signature link.
You want to be looking for forums that receive a high level of traffic and lots of regular posters. Don’t waste your time with forums that only have a few active members. Be sure to build up a good reputation and post count before linking to your website or people will think you are just a spammer.
G – Google Adwords
Even though this not a free method of getting traffic it can be a good way of generating some quick targeted traffic. You need to be aware that advertising on AdWords can be expensive with some keywords costing in excess of $50, and with an average conversion of 1 sale per 100 clicks you will not make much money if you sell a product that only costs a few dollars.
H – Hold Competitions
Competitions are a great way of generating traffic to a website or blog. Get yourself some decent prizes and offer various ways to enter. One way that does gain you extra traffic is to use a Tell-a-Friend script and make it a rule to enter they have to tell x amount of their friends to enter.
I – Investigate the Competitors
It is always a good idea to spy on what your rivals are upto from the keywords they are using to what products they have to offer. Look where their backlinks are coming from and get your links their as well.
