1. Get One.
First of all you need to make an RSS feed here si a step-by-step guide http://www.make-rss-feeds.com/making-an-rss-feed.htm
2. Add it to Homepages.
Goto your Google, Msn and Yahoo pages and add your RSS feed to them.
3. Social networking.
If any of the social networking websites you are a member of allow you to add an RSS feed them add one.
4. Promote it.
Make sure it is easily found on your website and ask people to sign up to it. You can join ours at the top right od this blog.
5. Ping it.
Use a service such as http://pingoat.com/ and ping you feed.
6. Widget it.
Use tools such as Widgetbox this will allow other people to add your feed to their website.
7. Java and Php.
Use Javascript or php to add it to any other related sites you may have.
8. Submit it.
Submit your feed to the top RSS feed directories here is a good place to start http://www.masternewmedia.org/rss/top55/
9. Keywords.
Be sure to use keyword rich titles in your RSS feed.
10. Google Webmaster Tools.
Add it GWT this will allow you to keep track of the keywords and rankings of your feeds.

Dennis what i mean is make sure you have your keywords in your post title which is usually the case for bloggers but for websites where you have to manually make the RSS feed you will need to be sure to add them
