I like hostgator, but I now mostly use bluehost for nearly all my sites. Did you find that they weren’t as good as the ones you listed?

You must mention Linode and Rackspace. I have had an impeccable experience with them. Their servers are simply great. Linode provides the best Xen VPS and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Linux server.

Hi there,
Most of my site run on EU hosting providers, such as pickawet and unlimitedhosting both of them a really good, and support is great.
I have one site that runs on Hostgator and I have to admit that they are wery good as well. Good support and not a single problem in last 6 months.
My websites usually run on CMS. So I would definitely recommend Hostgator, it may be a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I feel that Hostgator is the best among the lot. It is slightly costly, but worth the price. Bluehost is also very good.

I like Hostgator. Just keep in mind that if you use a standard Hostgator plan, you are limited to 25 application processes running at a time. So, if you have a lot of IMAP emails to setup, make sure to get a bigger plan.

I’ll stick to my national host, which is not way more expensive then these stated above (their packages start at 0.50 per month)

This is more effective website blog, It can be confusing when choosing a web hosting company because they all look pretty much the same and they seem like they know what they are doing. However, I recommend reading reviews from reliable websites so that you may compare and become more familiar with the hosting companies before making a decision. Thanks for sharing the useful information.

Personally, I tested many web hosting services ( including the once you listed ). I don’t remember very well the first 4. But I’m not using them, so I probably found something I didn’t like ( which is something I’m good at
).
Host Gator is, in my opinion, great for hosting adult websites, but it’s not as easy as it can be.
Actually I use Host Monster. In over 5 years with them, I’ve never had a single problem. I was victim of hacker attacks, and they helped. I needed new domains, and I easily added them. Plus they have very fast servers ( essential for SEO ).

Great Article. Reading comments are interesting. I know we all have our own experiences and each have our own needs for hosting. Hence some bad experiences with great companies. I’ve heard good and bad about many hosting companies. BlueHost has been great for me and a lot of people I know.
I know a number of top social media guys and gals that recommend BlueHost, but I also know others that recommend other hosts. To each their own.
For anyone looking for a new host or tired of the one they have I would recommend trying out BlueHost. They are highly rated, appearing in the top results for most of the searches on “best web hosting sites”.

We’ve experience with Arvixe and HostingFest for Windows Shared Servers, both are good, but definitely a lot of room of improvement but they’re both budget hosting providers, I wouldn’t rely on them.
Although, we’re also using KnownHost as our VPS provider and their servers are fast and extremely reliable, not to mention their fanatical support – quickest response times I’ve ever seem from a hosting company.
Best Regards,

Freeola in the Uk isnt a bad free option; the best I have found for a free hosting site, even though you need a dialup connection to host anything. Otherwise godaddy is ok if you wanna host a cheap and cheerful site for a few pounds per month.
