All Microsoft Windows operating systems use a similar method to store vital information about saved network and program preferences, as well as the configuration of any software or hardware programs loaded onto the hard drive. This method is called the registry, and every time you save any changes to your computer, or load new programs than the registry will be updated. There are some weaknesses with the registry method though, and it is easy for mistakes to occur during the updating process, which results in errors such as duplicate, fragmented and missing entries. This makes it more difficult for your operating system to find the correct registry entry when retrieving data about start up procedures and installed programs, causing the performance of your computer to be impaired.
There is an easy way to fix registry problems though by using the simple registry cleaning software that is widely available, which can be easily downloaded from the Internet. Some basic cleaning programs are free, but if you want the best registry cleaner, (one that will sort out complex registry problems), then it is a good idea to subscribe to one of the low cost, yearly registry cleaner plans. This means you can continue to scan your computer regularly throughout the year, and optimise your overall performance.
Paretologic RegCure is one of the top registry cleaner software programs, and can be easily downloaded from the Paretologic website. RegCure features an automatic repair function, that will fix an errors straightaway after a scan, and also a key feature that will help prevent any important information from being lost, a back up and restore function that will allow you to undo any incorrect registry changes. Software available in both free demo and full versions.

RegCure is indeed a highly proficient registry cleaner. I’ve tried the free demo. It detected the errors alright, but refused to fix the bugs (or even a small percent of it) unless I buy the whole thing. I ended up fixing the bugs one by one. Still, I recommend RegCure. It works as long as you pay for it.

Do I need to use the cleaner or is a system restore better? I have 512 ram installed but it says I have only 504 on my computer. Also how do I install ram? And how do I found out what kind of ram I have?

There are 100+ title of registry cleaners on the market. Download and scan your PC to compare them. Sometimes the free version better than the paid version. Great post. Thanks.
