Turn Traffic Into RSS Feed Subscribers

Every blogger wants traffic to their blog and not only new traffic but repeat traffic. Getting people to return day in day out will help you increase your online reputation. Once you build up your reputation you will also see an increase in sales as people begin to trust you and purchase the products that you recommend.

One way of getting repeat traffic is to get them to sign up to your RSS feed either via email or an RSS reader such as Google. Here are 5 ways that will help turn your traffic into RSS subscribers.

1. Put an email sign up form on your blog in a prominent position.

2. Put RSS feed buttons on your blog.

3. Give away a free ebook to encourage them to sign up.

4. Delivery quality unique and interesting content they want to read.

5. Do some guest blogging on other blogs.

6. Place your RSS subscription options above the fold.

7. Ask them to sign up after every post.

8. Write about RSS just like this post.

9. Make sure your feed is auto discoverable by internet explorer and FireFox.

10. Show your subscriber numbers when you pass 100.

If it sticks, you then have an opportunity to build relationships with those people and gain their trust in you. Once they have that trust, they will feel much more comfortable spending their money with you.

Nice list you got here mate. Some good ways to get more RSS subscribers. You can never have to many of these, and it takes some time and effort to get them.
