A lot of rogue SEO’s have managed to devise ways to cheat the algorithms of search engine and get there low quality and low content sites to the top of the results. Google, Yahoo and other search engines are fighting back using more complex algorithms to keep the crap out of their results.
The following tips will help you to optimize your site correctly:
1. SEO needs to be in the websites design. Always consider SEO when designing your website. It cannot be thought of after your website is finished. This leads to bad designing and adds extra strain on your browsers trying to find what they are looking for.
2. Every page on your website must be optimized. Using quality unique content and proper titles and tags.
3. Don’t just create a website for search engines. Concentrate on your visitors as well sites with poor grammar will just get ignored.
4. Keywords. Be sure you have researched your keywords for the appropriate page. Make sure they are relevant the content. This makes sure your pages do not get ignored by search engines.
Place keywords in the key positions on your website: The page title, Meta tags, Body, Headings, Images, Bullets, Links.
Quality website will rank well in search engines because a lot of their visitors will recommend it to other people via word of mouth, email, instant messenger, or better still, will link to it from their own website. Google sees inbound links to your pages as a vote and will increase your position depending on relevancy of the links.
