Social Networking websites are a great way of bringing back the readers that already know about your website plus bring in new readers. They help keep your readers involved with your website by providing them with quality and valuable content.
Here are some of the most popular Web2 Style websites.
Myspace - With Myspace you can control your content. One thing i like about Myspace is that you can actually promote yourself as a business and not just a person.
Facebook - Probably the most popular of all the Social networking websites. The one downside is that you must promote yourself as a person and not as a business.
Youtube - Youtube is the most popular video sharing website on the Internet and a great way of drawing attention to your business. Uploading funny videos or tutorials watermarked with your URL is a good way of getting awareness. Dont upload sales pitches these get you nowhere.
Flickr - The biggest photo sharing website around and another great way of getting awareness to your website. Simply uploading holiday photos or images from an art contest can draw awareness.
Digg - Probably one of the most powerful Web2 websites around. You submit your content to Digg and the users vote for it if they like it. Getting to the homepage can bring you thousands and thousands of visitors.
