When it comes to building back links to your website then web directories are a good way of doing it. Their are thousands of web directories available on the internet for you to submit to.
You need to be aware that some web directories are run as a business and so they will charge you to have your website reviewed but this should not put you off submitting to them. Thankfully their are thousands of web directories that will let you submit your website for free.
Just go to Google and do a search for Free Directories or head over to websites like Directorycritic.com where they have huge lists of free and paid web directories. Most free web directories will only allow for your homepage to be submitted so it is also worth doing a search for Deeplink directories as well so that you can submit your inner pages.
If you dont like the process of submitting your website to the thousands of web directories then you can pay to have it done for you. Many people will offer to submit your website to thousands of directories within 24hrs however i strongly recommend you do not do this as you could be penalised for link building to quickly.
