As promised at the end of part 2 in my series of using Yahoo Answers to get traffic to your blog part 3 is me revealing my top ten tips to quick traffic from yahoo Answers. Take the time to read these tips and im sure you soon start enjoying the amount of traffic it can generate.
Top Tip 1: Concentrate on answering questions that have been posted within the last 3 hours or so.
Top Tip 2: Make sure that the URL that you post in the resource box IS relevant to the question you just answered.
Top Tip 3: Try and give thorough answers to the questions this will increase your chances as being chosen as the Top answer.
Top Tip 4: Once you begin to get your linits raised to the amount of questions that you can answer per day start to answer older questions from this point. These will still get indexed in Yahoo`s search engine.
Top Tip 5: Try and include your keyword into your answers.
Top Tip 6: Try and answer questions upto what your limit is everyday. As well as Yahoo other search engines such as Google will include your URL on the answer page as a backlink to your website.
Top Tip 7: Dont give up. Achieving a really good reputation and building your backlink count does take time but you will see the benefits over time. Patience is the key.
Top Tip 8: Research the niche you are answering questions in. It is important that you know what you are talking about if you want to increase both your reputation and traffic.
Top Tip 9: Use the power of a custom landing page dont just send people to your websites main page.
Top Tip 10 : Points, points and erm more points. For every answer you give you will recieve 2 points and 10 points if it is chossen as the best answer, Once you reach level 2 you will be able to vote on the answers that other users leave this will gain you even more points, and what do points make? in this case more traffic. As you continue to gain points you will eventually achieve the level of Top contributor which will further increase your reputation and traffic.
