The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise

Worcestershire Business Central would like to congratulate the three Worcestershire businesses that have been awarded The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2021. Fibex Ltd, Olpro and Payara.

The awards are the most prestigious business awards in the UK and are officially announced every April. They recognise and encourage outstanding achievements in:

  • Innovation
  • International trade
  • Sustainable development
  • Promoting opportunity

205 organisations have been nationally recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, personally approved by Her Majesty The Queen. Three Worcestershire businesses have been recognised in the 2021 awards list.

Fibex Ltd based in Kidderminster has developed a system for the construction industry to improve upon existing solutions. This programme, called Trenchlite, delivers many tangible benefits to the construction industry and is recognised in the Innovation category of the Queen’s Awards

Olpro based in Worcester, creates outdoor leisure products and have recently excelled overseas. The company wins the Queen’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.

Payara, based at Malvern Hills Science Park, is a global IT company. The company’s overseas sales grew by over 100% in the last three years and they also win the Queen’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short Term Growth.
